OTO wins the Second Edition of KPMG’s Tech Innovator Competition

KPMG held its second annual KPMG Private Enterprise Tech Innovator Competition which acknowledges leading tech innovators and future technology trailblazers across Saudi Arabia and 21 countries from around the world, pitching their innovations and presenting growth ambitions to a panel of industry professionals.

After competing against six shortlisted finalists out of 55 entrepreneurial applicants across various industries, OTO was announced the winner of the competition on September 7, 2022, recognized by the panel for its innovative approach and opportunities for scale, along with parameters as: disruption and innovation, market potential, customer adoption, market traction and marketing, long-term potential, and pitch quality.

The panel of prominent judges included Amal Dokhan, General Partner at 500 Global; Tala Aljabri, Venture Partner at HOF Capital; Omar Al-Shabaan, Co-founder and CEO of The Space; Dr. Samer M. Abdullah, Head of ICT Sector at KPMG; and Maz Hussain, Head of Digital Lighthouse.

OTO will represent Saudi Arabia, competing against the winning finalists from 22 countries in the global final held this November during Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal. 

The countries participating in the global competition include Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Denmark, East Africa, Germany, Ireland, India, Japan, Kuwait, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Taiwan, the UK and the US.
